Our heroine is the prime minister of her country, but in reality she is just a puppet. Once our hero steps in, she will learn to dance to his tune, but she will find that is much more enjoyable than her current state.

This is another entry in the author's long standing dystopian world where shadowy organizations work behind the scenes to try to save the world. Their methods may be a bit unorthodox, but they are effective. The story itself is written as a standalone, so no prior reading is required.

This is an erotic romance with a bit of covert action thrown in. The story is well written and easy to read with an excellent cast of characters. The is fairly straightforward and involves a lot of steam. There is also a strong focus on D/S and punishment, particularly spanking, so if that is not your thing, then perhaps you should steer clear. Overall, I found it to be another delightful entry in the series and I definitely look forward to more from this author.

As this is a review of the audio book, I should also mention that the narrative was excellent. It was clear, well enunciated, and perfectly timed for optimal enjoyment.

Highly recommended.
