The narration was good. I just should've done more research on the book. Didn't expect so much graphic sex and rape. Not bad, just not at all my taste. Giving it 3 because the overall story is interesting and she did an ok job of world building.

This book has a lot of rape, and some child sex. These things also seem to have little emotional impact on the main character.

Not for everyone, but personally I love this book. It was recommended by a friend and I plan to reread it multiple times. I love listening to it while I'm doing work around the house. Laurent is my favorite and I'll always have a soft spot for him.

I loved the story... didn't think I would. At first it took some getting used to the narrator not really distinguishing between voices, but once I moved past that, he was the right man for the job :)
