I enjoyed the twist and turns of this story though it’s a little confusing listening and distinguishing between dream and real life. There’s action and betrayal and it was a wild ride. It brings the heat and I’m here for it. There are some trigger warnings so be aware this isn’t a mushy romance. I had to keep going back to figure out which character was speaking. This should have been a dual narrations. While the narrator would be good for a book in a male perspective, his female voice just isn’t hit for me. Also so weird cadence moments

This is a great story that follows the romance that develops between Styx(aka Talon) and Emily. Dark versus light. What a rollercoaster ride. It has such a great plot with action, suspense, danger and most importantly love. Skyler Morgan did an excellent job in the narration of all the characters in this book. I received this audiobook for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review.

This was a thrill ride filled with sex, violence, and love. Lots of twists and turns to keep you gripping the edge of your seat. Grade A narration.

Lots of action! Very dominant MMC with a lot of baggage and an interesting character arc. FMC who seemed a little TSTL at first glance, but she also had a redeeming character arc. There were a few twists and turns I didn't see coming.

The narration was good. I noticed a few words were pronounced differently than I've heard, but I could definitely be saying them incorrectly and it didn't bother me enough to take off a star.

Story looks to be book 1 of a series but I read it as a standalone. There's no cliffhanger.
