Troy — holy shit! He truly brought Opt to life. I absolutely LOVE what he narrates. He was perfect for Opt!

Opt was truly an amazing MC president. He was meant for the job. I wish he and Chels woulda worked things out sooner BUT it made the story work.

I was apprehensive about this listen... Boy would I have lost out on a great new series... Addison Jane is a new author for me but from today on she'll be an automatic purchase for me... Great narration along with great story! well worth the credit!

Optimus & Chelsea: triggers- trafficking, kidnapping, domestic abuse, assault. OMG, I'm totally living this series so far. Optimus is the president of this MC chapter and Chelsea is Harmony's best friend. Chelsea is also a club girl but over the years she had been chosen by the president and the president only and essentially had fallen in love with him. But Optimus will not make her his old lady despite his true feelings and now with the Mafia on their backs, he definitely won't. There's a lot of push and pull with Optimus and I can honestly say that I felt every tear that Chelsea shed. Chelsea is just as strong as Harmony. She is definitely old lady material. But how much rejection can you take? He won't be with her but he also won't let her serve the club as is her duty. Oh, the drama. Now the Mafia is making threats and Chelsea is the target or that's what they think. There's so much going on but it's really well written. It's 🔥 🔥 🔥, mysterious and emotionally frustrating all at the same time. I really enjoyed reading this one.

Loved this Book! It kept me engaged and did not disappoint. the MMC's & MFC's Narrator's Created Pictures of all Events. Acted effortless. Writer gave great POV of something of what the Girl's did or go through.

I’m a sucker for the motorcycle club trope. It’s one of my guiltiest pleasures. I was instantly intrigued when I found an MC book from a club girl’s point of view. I thought it would be refreshing to look at it from a female POV and I wasn’t disappointed.

Let me start by sharing how much I LOVE the narrators. Troy Duran has a magnificently growl-ly voice that is utter perfection for OTT alpha-holes in MCs. Elizabeth Hart is a familiar voice with books by Addison Jane and I enjoy her performances too.

Optimus, as president of the MC, is a force to be reckoned with. I adored his obsession with Chelsea and that he stopped seeing other club girls so he could spend each night with Chelsea. However his reluctance to make her his publicly drove me bonkers. His insistence that he was protecting her from himself was ridiculous and drawn out way too long. It did lead to a fabulously overwrought and emotional scene before Chelsea made an important decision. I loved the angst!

Chelsea is a head strong and intelligent FMC that knew what she wanted and what she would tolerate from the man she loved. It was wonderful to see a woman who didn’t give her power away and refused to settle for less than she deserved. I rejoiced when she was upfront with Optimus about her feelings. Miscommunication between two main characters and a refusal to confess your love is a stupid plot driver that is irritating.

The pacing of the novel was good. I wanted to keep reading and trying to guess what would happen next. There weren’t any slow parts that dragged. The plot was strong and less predictable than many of the MC novels I’ve read recently.

There wasn’t much spice but the spice it did have was good.

Overall I would definitely recommend Chelsea by Addison Jane. I look forward to reading more books from the Brothers of Blood MC. I can’t wait to jump into Blizzard’s story next.
