This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Pregnant omega Grayson has survived on grit and stubbornness alone, building a life for himself and his unborn daughter with nothing but sheer will. But when a fire reduces it all to ash, rescue comes in the last form he'd ever expect: a flight of dragon firefighters led by Altair, a brooding alpha who wants absolutely nothing to do with humans.

Altair and his flight brothers have sworn to protect their shared town—humans included—but taking one into their home? A pregnant human omega? That wasn't part of the deal. Altair has spent years keeping his distance from humanity, and he's not about to let one defiant, maddening, entirely too alluring omega tear down walls he's built for good reason.

But Grayson's not going anywhere. And with a baby on the way, Altair is about to learn that some fires can't be put out—and some bonds can't be denied.

Daddy From Flames features dragon shifters, a human omega, firefighters, an industrial fantasy setting, pregnancy/birth, new dads, a cat, love healing wounds, action, fun, light drama, and, as always, a happily ever after. Written for fans of high-heat M/M romance novels that don't skimp on story and world-building, the Dragon Firefighters takes place in an expansive industrial fantasy world, where elemental dragons and humans share a fractious coexistence.

As sweet as this story was, the AI voice was a thorough disappointment. Audio was purchased in error. Not realizing it was a generated voice. Stick to real narrators. It's an art that shouldn't be messed with.

Disappointed

Love the story, but computer narration still reminds me of that one monotone teacher in school that you just can't focus listening to.

story is great, narration sucks

The story was a worthy gamble, but not to my taste. I did love it, but neither did I hate it. Definitely not horrible as some of the other mpregs I’ve read and they can get pretty bad. I’ll keep this book in my collection but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing the rest of the series. I would recommend the book to anyone who is really into gay romance. I’m not..,then again, to be fair, I’m not much into romance in any orientation anyway.

A human reader would have been better
