I’m not sure what struck me about this story but I loved how they talked about each other, how they needed each other and how they didn’t just fall in love. It was an untraditional long term romance and I couldn’t get enough of them!

I loved all of the other books I’ve read by Stella, but this one pissed me off through most of it. The FMC irritated me so much. Like girl, why!? I understand the trauma but dang sweetheart. You left this life to go to that? I get why she stayed but she could have avoided all of that. & how did they even find her when she fled!? & then the MMC also pissed me off. He needed to put that Anna girl in her place in the beginning, article or not. Overall, it was okay. Not my favorite.. it dragged on to much.

this story is definitely a different 1 but in a good way. my favorite part was the story on the plane to Scotland frm the friend (I laughed so hard regarding the bald cat) 🤣
