Re: female narrator. I didn’t think anyone could be as boring as Scarlet Love but here we are. Who actually listens to these auditions? Monotone, no inflection and no difference between male and female characters is insulting to audiobook listeners. We pay good money for these books and end up with something not worth listening to. It’s maddening.

Re: Thomas Locklear. Five stars. He’s amazing. Just let him do the entire book if you can’t be bothered to get a decent second narrator. He knows how to act and add emotion to the characters. Bravo.

Re: the book is great and a solid addition to the series. It looks like this will be another series I just read if the monotone female narrator comes back for the next one. Sigh.

This was one delicious amazing ride that I thoroughly enjoyed this was filled with everything you could possibly ask for It has adventure, mystery, love, erotic sex, heart ache and such amazing happiness i loved every minute of it I'm Looking forward to listening to it again in the near future.

Thomas and Victoria's narration was absolutely fabulous they just brought this to life and made it so exhilarating to listen to Bravo.

Navarro and Fallon’s story is fast moving, exciting and action-packed. From the very first word to the very last I was kept and enthralled and entertained by this exciting story.

The two main characters first met when she was a child, he saved her and in doing so set in motion, something that could never be denied

It was years before they met again this time with Fallon intending to end his life. Fortunately, she was not successful and what follows is one of the most , exciting and interesting mafia romances I have had the pleasure of listening to. These two are perfect for each other, the chemistry they share is palpable and sizzling.

The narration is excellently performed by Victoria Launcelot and Thomas Locklear who do a wonderful job of bringing each character to life.

I refrain from reviewing audiobooks due to my lack of expertise in literary composition and artistic performance of narration. I listened to the entire book because the story was excellent, but I did so at a faster speed as the female narrator's voice reminded me of a virtual voice. I am confident that her narration is effective in other contexts, but I felt it wasn't the best fit for this particular book. To be fair, I plan to seek out her performances in other settings.
