This is my first book by Alexandra Noir and I really enjoyed it. It was hot and steamy, and I look forward to listening to other books of hers. Ruby Rivers did a great job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

This was a great story, kept me entranced from beginning to end. Loved the relationship between the two leads. A bit predictable but still very entertaining and extremely hot! The narration was way too breathy for my taste, but still enjoyable.

Wow, I got to say that the narrator makes a big difference. Especially in the way the characters are portrayed. I love the fact that Cameron is a Dom and knows about the lifestyle in which the books are being written about, unfortunately for Stephanie who has no idea about BDSM. Although, she don’t know the lifestyle she is quite eager to learn. She is not afraid of the unknown and is always willing to go the extra mile. As for Cameron he is a Dom, but is very cautious and able to relay his taught and feels to Stephanie and vice versa. Together they are one that works as one.

I enjoyed the story but it wasn’t my favorite BDSM book. I’m not sure what was missing but it just didn’t hit the mark. I felt that it was a bit rushed at the end but it was overall a pretty decent story. I think it could have used another chapter or two.

It took me a bit longer to finish than most books because I just really didn’t care for the narrator and I kept getting distracted. I hated her voice for Cameron! She was super breathy and over the top which would work on some scenes but not every single sentence.

Enjoyed the story, the narrator not so much...
