The last thing I wanted was a boyfriend, let alone two.

I wanted to explore my sensual side in a safe space, a club designed where other like-minded people can experiment and discover themselves. It was a chance to take back the confidence my ex had stolen.

No strings attached.

No relationships.

So, of course, a heated one-night stand changed everything.

But the man helping me check off my erotic wishlist wasn't just one ridiculously hot guy. Instead, I find myself caught in the snare of identical twins playing a dangerous game.

They don't deserve forgiveness for the way they basically parent-trapped me at a sex club, but I just can't stop coming back for more. You know what they say…two is always better than one.

We promised each other that things would stay purely physical, friends with benefits only.

Too bad my stupid heart gets involved. Is it possible that this connection has derailed their plans, and they feel something, too?

I've got a prestigious career, societal expectations, and a vengeful ex to contend with. Will I let that all get in the way of my happiness, or will I finally take what I want, times two?

Loved the narrators!

I’m going to list a few possible triggers later, but if you’re reading these in order, know that the general over the top vibe continues.

I can’t explain exactly why this feels like the most lighthearted of the series. Possibly because it involves how kink and art are each elements of transformation without the book becoming pretentious. YMMD.

If you’re not OK with an exclusive MFM triad dynamic, if light D/S is not something you want to read about, or if mentions of stalking and a mention of past domestic abuse are triggers, this might not be your kind book.

However, if you embrace fiction for what it is and want to follow the story of a brave, talented woman (who is a natural Switch) and the youngest brothers in this series, enjoy!

Some other points to be aware of, no particular order:

- Alcohol mixed with D/S (keep it in fiction and I’m fine with that).

- Lying by two of the Main Characters in a trust-based environment, specifically a sex / kink club. I can enjoy some heavy stuff in fiction, but this killed my boner. Not enough to make me stop listening, though.

- Actions which are repeatedly called spite. Personally I had a different view of those actions (vengeance and justified anger, predominantly).

- Siblings who are both involved with one partner (no sexual attraction between siblings).

- It’s rare but oddly more noticeable in this book compared to the rest of the series: some words are used incorrectly. Possibly a different editor handled this one? It’s not enough to make me give up on the plot, but it did pull me out of the work more than once.

- Dropped plot thread, AKA Chekov’s Photoshoot.
I won’t spoiler you. I will yell in my head “What article?” I will yell it repeatedly. Chapter 39 “Jessa showed me the article. She wouldn’t do that if she wasn’t all in.” My only guess is that this references an off-screen artistic publication of their very public photoshoot, which would tie up her professional status plot thread, given her background in Art History and women in art, she’d be perfectly equipped to write something to accompany the images. I could be wrong.

Seriously, there was a build-up, a hinted-at plan to tackle more than one issue, and then a single throwaway line about an article.

If this is a very subtle teaser for another book or a crossover, I’m not amused.

What article?

Most people wouldn’t consider this a cliffhanger, but it’s frustrating to someone who pays as much attention to plot resolution as to kink content. Only one of those is fun when it ends in a whimper.

Fun despite Chekov’s Photoshoot

Content warnings
Abusive relationship, stalking, blackmail

Kate, a newly divorced art professor, just wants to live a little and ends up tangled with Gavin and Ben Carlson, identical twins who are equal parts chaos and charm. Gavin’s the dominant, grumpy one; Ben’s the sweet, funny, sunshine sub.

What starts as a one-night stand turns into a steamy, emotional mess of mistaken identity, fantasy lists, and unexpected feelings.

It was honestly perfect and exactly what I needed. A bit of drama, an asshole of ex, a lot of steam, no third act breakup and two absolutely smitten twins.
Absolutely recommend.

(And also f*uck you, Will).

This story is a perfect rebound romance, a rollercoaster of humor, heat and healing.
