When I fled my small town home to fly across the globe for a potential job on a remote island, I did it on a whim. And let's just say my parents were not happy. According to them, the journey of self-discovery is not nearly as important as tending the family farm.

This book had me cracking up for most of it. Chase was something else. His internal monologue was great. I loved how Holden was so drawn to him. and Bob... we can't forget Bob. He totally had main character energy. Great listen! Narration was really good as well.

I love Cora Rose and the writing for this book was great as always. I loved seeing the relationship between Chase and Holden evolve, but I feel like it ended so abruptly. We were just starting to see them as a couple then all of a sudden everything is great and it was over?! We didn’t really get to see Chase’s family that he “had to get away from.” So the ending being so chummy and easy with his family didn’t make sense… narration was 10/10 and really brought it to life. Overall good but could have been great.
