Would you try another book from Constance Pennington Smythe and/or Miss Erica Kent?

No I don't think so. Every story had the basic premise that the female despised the male submissive and had only contempt for them. The males only emotion was one of fear. There was no affection and definitely no love.

If you’ve listened to books by Constance Pennington Smythe before, how does this one compare?

This is the first of her books I've listened to.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator's pacing was hard for me to get comfortable with. The whiny voice for all the submissives was irritating.

Any additional comments?

If your kink is having the female loathe the male then you will probably like the book. If it is more toward the female and male having some affection for each other you will not like the book.
