The chemistry between Stephen Foster and Nubia Perry is an undeniable fact.

The handsome, dynamic former rugby star is used to getting who he wants with minimal effort, but Nubia's steadfast refusal to acquiesce - while also making it clear that she's equally interested in him - is compelling enough to keep his attention firmly planted on her.

Even once it's clear that Nubia's polished façade is something she puts on for the public, to hide the scarred, vulnerable woman underneath, Stephen persists. He isn't intimated by the model-turned-mogul's aggressive personality - it only draws him in further.

Relationships aren't even on Nubia's radar. She has friends, family, and her steadily growing brand. After a failed engagement to the man she thought she'd build her life with - an athlete, at that - she's not interested in anything beyond having her physical needs met.

Unavoidable chemistry and close proximity work in tandem to bring these two onto the same wavelength. With the eyes of the world watching, will they deny the obvious or give in to the inevitable seductions of passion, companionship, and love?

Contains mature themes.

I was already a big fan of Christina C. Jones, Wesleigh, and Jakobi, but this book elevated the game for me. So well-written, and the characters were given the attention that their stories deserved. Nubia had a multitude of complex layers, and I enjoyed the way CCJ let her story unfold. One of the things that I enjoy most about CCJ's style is she writes the male perspective beautifully. Steph processing his emotions for the listeners in real-time was amazing.

And let's be clear - Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem do not narrate books - they PERFORMED THE HELL out of this story. Five stars, all the way.

Steph and Nubia are literally my faves

I first listened to this book back in February and admittedly I didn't love it. I liked it, but I had just listened to book 1 and think that I was still too hung up on Kora and Tariq to love the next couple like I loved them. But after listening again this week, really taking the time to focus, I found myself really visually invested. Like I could actually see the scenes and felt all the feels. This story was beautifully written with the right mix of everything. And while I did want more in the end, I realize that all good things must come to an end.

As per usual, this narrator duo was perfection.

Great Performance, Good Story

As always, CCJ paints a beautifully vivid story for you to fall in love with! Her characters are always so full of life, and their love connection can always be felt. The way CCJ details beautiful black love is simply amazing! And as always, Wesleigh and Jakobi narrated their behinds off!!

Steph and Nubia!

I had to grow to like the female lead of the story, Nubia. She seemed bratty, self absorbed, and unforgiving at first and even during some of the rest of the story, but she had her reasons. This narrator brought so much life to Nubia and Jakobi was awesome as usual. ❤️

Great Story Great Readers

I enjoyed listening to this book from beginning to end. Nubia was an interesting character from Inevitable Conclusions, but she blossomed in Inevitable Seductions. I would love to know what’s next for this dynamic duo. Enjoy listening!
