I love the story of the characters that was told. nothing in life is never easy if it's worth having. the way the story start as a flirty situation that turned in a true beautiful blossom love story. 👏🏽 author on a wonderful love story...

This is a book that has been on my TBR for years, and I just grabbed the audiobook at random from my library when nothing was calling to me. Unfortunately, I think it sat too long on my shelf because the story is not one that really interests me anymore, and I ended up barely paying attention to it. I found the heroine to be childish and naive, and something about the hero was cringey. I thought her dad was too involved in their story, and the Hero's kids were not involved enough. Overall, it mostly just wasn't my type of story anymore, and I was bored throughout.

I could not connect with these characters AT ALL! The female character is way to immature to be with this adult single father! She seems like a kid herself! The male character is a POS father who only cares about screwing his friends daughter. He doesn’t even care enough about his kids to be discreet and finds it funny that they knew all along about him banging the neighbor girl. He had numerous one night stands before that and appears to only want sex all the time. There is no connection between the main characters besides that. I normally like age gap romance, but this was just sex with a friends child. He didn’t seem to really miss his wife or care about his kid’s feelings. He felt really slimy to me. Yuck!

A great story if you are wanting an easy read with a second chance love. There wasn’t a lot of depth to the characters, but the story didn’t really need it. A hea that makes you smile and feel good for the entire cast of characters. If you want a light read, this is definitely the one for you.

I enjoyed and laughed a lot. I liked that it moved quickly. Age gap stories creep me out and is my only negative- but it wasn’t as awkward as it could’ve been. It’s worth the listen.
