I enjoyed the narrator. The beginning of the story had a slow build and made me a bit drowsy. Several chapters in I became invested in the characters. I appreciate that the story was easy to follow even if I zoned out a little because there were so many details given that it was a little hard to focus. LM Montgomery will still forever be my favorite. It is my goal to read all of her work. I like the length of the story and that ultimately love wins.
