Lucky had always led a life of service. He had always put his life on the line for someone else, managing to survive by pure luck and skill. After bringing an end to a multistate drug ring, he was finally able to live the life he had wanted as a Last Rider.

A good man would walk away and not touch the curvy woman who had been tugging on his heartstrings. Lucky wasn't a good man. Therefore the bad-ass biker in him had a choice: once again become the man he had pretended to be and stake his claim or take the devil's highway.

Good story but the performance voices of the character reminds me of Daryl Hanna in Steele Magnolias. Too funny!

Lucky & Willow’s love story was a journey with character growth.
Lucky was a pastor who helped so many people, a serviceman who suffered with PTSD issues and a ATF agent while he was a pastor. When he stepped down as pastor he lived the life of a Last Rider, indulged in his sexual proclivities and fought his feelings for Willow.
Willow was a successful baker, didn’t like confrontation, low self esteem, body image, rich, always helped whoever needed it and had a heart of gold.
I do feel Lucky respected Willow’s body and beliefs more than the other Last Rider couples. HEA! Great epilogue and narrator.

I was so frustrated with Lucky through most of this story. Willa is such a good person, with a heart of gold. Her and Lucky seem to be opposites but deep down Lucky is a good person. I have to say this was a frustrating story but at the same time I enjoyed every single heart palpitating moment of it.
