This was a short listen but had some great heat and emotional moments.

A new to me author, that I'm glad I stumbled upon. I loved thid second chance romance and Goodie and Sutton were great. Hot and entertaining. I look forward to more. I was glad Sutton finally came to her senses, but not without prodding from Goodie. The narrator did a great job. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

I found it interesting and enjoyed the story, great narrator ...I will be seeing what else this author has out to listen too.

Goodie is surprised to see Sutton when she shows up to tell him she will be in charge of his renovations. As former friends who grew apart, the two have history. Sutton hopes to land a job for a supernatural, because those jobs are higher profile and higher pay. Goodie agrees to take on Sutton, but only if she commits to getting to know him again. Goodie shows her around his brother's club and tries to remind her of how it can be between them.

If you're looking for a short, spicy story with hints of magic and business, this is the book for you!

Audio Narration:
As always, Joshua Macrae knocks the narration out of the park. He distinguishes between characters and doesn't over-dramatize them.
