This book was so good! If you are looking at a priest and his best friend’s daughter who are breaking his vows one at a time, this is the one! Check your trigger warnings first 💖. The narration was fantastic! Autumn did a fantastic jobs with both characters. It really did feel like two different people reading.

This newest offering in this series is one that you don't want to miss. I am not Catholic but if I was after reading this book and especially Luca would make me want to go to confessional!

The age difference between Luca and Sloane might have been an issue for Luca in the beginning but all it took was Sloane's teasing and he was a goner. He soon realized that age is just a number. There is nothing that can stop what the heart desires.

K.M. always brings the SPICE. Yet, what I really enjoyed was the sweet moments between Sloane and Luca. These scenes allowed me to really get to know them better as well form a strong emotional connection.

Don't feel guilty about reading this book as it is a recommended read. Although, if you do have any guilt, just say three Hail Mary's and you will be good.

loved the story, loved the smut. was expecting the scene of him coming in all guns going off bloody etc etc, but it was still fantastic. autumn mercers voice is absolutely perfection and her male voices are delicious and i couldn't love her performance more

Proving that once again I've got a knack for reading books partway through a series, I've just finished what turned out to be Book 3 of the New York Crime Families series. This book works so well as a standalone that I had no idea until I cross checked the title at the end to see what other titles by the author I could sniff out.

This book has got it all going on. MMC Father Rosso, a handsome silver fox with a savior complex and a praise kink. Oh HELLO. FMC Sloane, a young erotic dancer with an unhappy childhood, making her own way until she gets trafficked. She's saved early on but has to go into hiding so that the mob can't get her - she's gotten out and knows too much after all - so it's fortunate that the super hot priest is willing to help her hide. Did I mention he's her estranged father's best friend? Yep, there's an age gap here, folks, but it's all dealt with very well. In real life I'd be "Oh noooooo", but in romantic fiction I'm very much "I'm interested, continue ..."

So that's the storyline, now let's talk about the narration. Autumn Mercer has gone a fantastic job with this book. I have to give her mad props for her male voices on this one. She has a smooth lower register without going too gravelly, and to my ears it totally works. She delivers a cast of characters with different accents and age points, and does them so well that I forgot I was listening to a solo narrator.

To put it another way, the storyline and audio narration made such a great combination that I want more.
