I love how it really delved into the characters background, going between the past and present. How it shows no matter how much you "think" you know someone, friend or foe, nobody ever tells you everything. It was an exciting read with magic involved and build up to the climax was amazing.

I enjoyed the story, with the mix of slasher and supernatural...the why choose plot was great. my only hang up was the audio. he had a great voice but I do generally prefer a woman reader for the woman's pov and there were quite a few times where there was an error, a mispronounced word or a re-read of a line. overall I liked it and look forward to the rest of the series!

I’m so excited to have Book 1 of the Final Girl series finally on audio! This is one of my favorite books and Westin did such an amazing job that I forgot it wasn’t dual narrated. Tylor blends dark romance and all the cheesy awesomeness of slasher movies perfectly. This will be a spooky time staple in my car.
