I hate giving negative reviews, I really do, but this narrator just stinks, at least for this book. Her cadence is stilted, and she employs a strange almost cartoonist sounding drawl for the male lead. It's slow and grainy sounding, but not in a nice sexy way. It's a terrible distraction from a story that requires a lot of suspended disbelief to begin with.

Fans of BDSM erotica will love those aspects of the story. It's not bad overall, I only had a problem with the heroine's reason for being on the run. It was beyond stupid, even for someone young. If you can get past that, this is a fun, naughty short listen.

Honestly the story was good enough for what it is but I am glad I didn’t spend any $$ or credits on it. The heroine is a twit.

But it really was the narrator that almost ruined a nice kinky story. She really didn’t do the male voices well. Most of the time, they all sounded like one person and he was a gruff, 2 pack a day 60 year old.

Could have been more enjoyable with a different reader. Will pass on the rest of the series.
