All it takes is the hint of a scent and an alpha totally loses it. Feck has been living a long time with a prophecy that could spell disaster, but he'll ignore it all to claim the omega as his. Vena has been through hell from within the experimental confines of the IFC., Now she has an alpha to protect and see to all her needs. That is after a few road bumps along the way. For those who like a pregnancy trope, you're in luck with this one.

Wow! When you say you hit the ground running, you do hit it running. The story, from the get go, was fast paced and the relationship progressed in a blink of an eye. I like the 2 leads. Vina seems like she’s strong and unyielding but knows when to submit to her life mate. Fek has demons but has nothing but love and adoration for Vina. Together, they make an adorable couple. Both selfless and completely enamored with each other.

The voices gave a clear view of who they were. They fit with the image I have of both characters in my head. I liked the quality of the narration and the emotions were laid out well in the execution.

Taken and Teased is the third book in the Warrior Elite Series by V.T. Bonds.
It is a dark, action-packed Omegaverse story

The story follows Omega Veena, who is captured, experimented on, and abused by the International Science Corps (ISC).

A rescue team attacks the facility where she is being held, under the guise of providing freedom for her and her fellow omegas.
Veena soon finds herself transported from one prison to another.

Alpha Fek wasn't prepared for the trigger of his biological lifemates scent or his response to her. Even though she's already been through so much, Veena accepts Fek's need to claim her.

But things get a lot worse when Veena and Fek are captured by the ISC, and things go to a whole new level of darkness when the pair become the focus of the ISC's experimentation and torture.

Taken and Teased is a dark Omegaverse.
It was a fine balance of darkness and hope - depravity and resilience
Veena refused to give up, even in the face of unimaginable horrors.
Fek was so protective and loving of her, he would sacrifice it all to keep Veena safe.
Together, they were a force to be reckoned with.

If you are looking for a light and fluffy read, Taken and Teased is NOT the book/audio for you. However, if you are looking for a dark, gritty, and emotional story about survival, love, and hope, then I highly recommend it.

The characters were well-developed and complex.
The plot was fast-paced and exciting. Plenty of action, suspense, and romance.
The world-building was vivid and descriptive. I felt like I was right there with the characters, experiencing everything they were going through. I can not tell you the number of times I screamed out loud, turned away (yes I know I had to turn back but it was hard), or white-knuckling my Kindle while battling my inner self not to look ahead.

I am really picky when it comes to my narrators - This was well narrated however the female character just did not work for me - she did a great job it was me thing. Overall though Highly recommend for those who enjoy dark Omegaverse -

This was the most heart wrenching and my favorite so far of the series. It took me longer than normal to get through this, but only because of how intense their journey is.

This is not my normal type of romance but I will admit the author has caught my interest.
The characters worked well together and the story had meaning.
Even though it's not my favorite troupe, I will give the author credit and can recommend this to others who love this troupe and for people like myself to try.
