This is a story by a new to me author Lacey Daize and a new to me narrator Richard Pendragon.

This was a really quick listen at 1hr and 39min. I was going to say short and sweet, but I don't think the word sweet quite fits 😉.

Ash, the nerdy college librarian, looking for an alpha that will be able to give him what he needs. So far he hasn't had much luck. Cue the hunky members of a local lacrosse team. However can he pick just one!?!

This was very cute and steamy but I would consider it a novella because it was very short. I listen to everything at 2x so it was just under 50 minutes long. I would have loved a full length story with these characters and feeling more of their wooing him and I didn't like that you couldn't bond with multiples in this universe, That all said it was great for the novella it is and I wouldn't rate it less because it's not as long as I want, just sad it was over so fast.

I feel like I’m always surprised when I read/ listen to shorter stories how…rushed? Incomplete? For a shorter story it was enjoyable don’t get me wrong; however, i believe id have enjoyed it more had it been longer. That’s definitely the hard part with shorter books is that i don’t feel as if i had enough time to know the characters and their story feels like it started and then ended with no middle ground. For what it was i did find it enjoyable and did enjoy the little snippets i got of the characters. The narrator was decent i couldn’t quite take him seriously during the more intimate scene but none the less I enjoyed his reading of this book.

Quick fun read and now audio. I usually don’t listen or read mm+ but I am enjoying this series. No unnecessary drama or jealousy. Can’t wait for the others. Great narrator.
