"Here comes Trouble!" Colton took one look at the stripper on stage and knew that was exactly what Vida was: trouble. He had no desire to succumb to the young woman tantalizing men with her provocative movements and killer body with no intention of satisfying their fantasies. Fresh out of prison, his tattoo shop and getting rid of an aggravating ex were his first priorities, not a woman who should know better than to become involved in a situation that could get her killed. Vida will do anything to save her friend’s life, even if it includes stripping on stage and doing lap dances in the VIP room under her stage name Trouble. All the sensuous moves were just an illusion to gain the information she needed, even if it meant the men who watched thought she would keep the promises her body was making. Forced to sift through lies and betrayals, Colton discovers a woman who is as loving as she is loyal, but won't give him a chance. Vida, who tries to ignore the escalating passion between them, learns the hard way that some men shouldn’t be teased….

My all time favorite steamy series written by this wonderful author, Jamie Begley, is and will always be the Last Riders series. Talk about hot domineering alpha males!!! You haven’t seen alpha until you read this series..... anyway this leads me to the VIP series which is intertwined with the Last Riders series. Colton is very much an alpha hero in this story and his slow burn for the heroine, Vida, was 🔥🔥🔥. I really enjoyed this book. Vida was a sweet, studious and altruistic girl that sacrificed her dignity by working at a strip club to find out what happened to her best friend Sawyer who was kidnapped and sold into being a sex slave. Vida needs to be protected from the man responsible for her friend’s disappearance so King, her boss, calls in a favor from Colton, to keep her safe at his home. Colton is just out of prison, but he is indebted to King so he agrees. From the first moment he sees Vida he realizes he is in trouble. He tries to stay away from her but in the end he succumbs to his feelings. The plot was slow to unwind in the beginning but by the end it was completely satisfying and worth the cringe worthy moments where Colton tries to shake off his growing attraction to Vida through his sexual encounters with other women. The ending was awwwwww inspiring and perfect!

A steamy & tantalizing erotic love story

Enjoyed reading the book and have enjoyed listening to this audible version more times than I can remember. It’s a favorite. The book is an interesting little romance happening around the disappearance of the stripper’s best friend. It seems these two women were somehow involved with King and one has been taken to get to him. HEA. No cliffhanger on the romance but the friend missing is carried through to the next book. Luckily it published and it’s good too! Enjoy

Would you consider the audio edition of Teased to be better than the print version?

Yes, because it brings the characters to life and they seem so much more real and relatable.

Because he is so mysterious and at the same time you can tell he has a good hear heart even though he won't admit it.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Sawyer works at the tattoo shop.
