A steamy romance between an escort who falls for his unsuspecting client without realizing they would have to work together.

The story hits all the notes that you would expect for a darker romance. You know that Trey's choices will ultimately hurt Charlie, and he does, too, but he is able to justify his behavior until he can't.

The audiobook narration would have been better with two voices rather than one. I rarely think this but this book might be better read than heard.

This is my first time with this author and I will definitely be reading/listening to more of her work. The narrator did a wonderful job. Jonathan Burling has a wonderful voice that just kept me glued to each word. I think the only thing that could have made it better is if it was duet narration. I literally couldn't stop listening. Charlotte and Trey meet when Trey is hired to show her a good time. These two have instant, intensely hot chemistry and have a one night stand only it doesn't stay that way. I loved their journey and how they overcame all the secrets. There is so much more to these two and all their friends. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. Definitely a 5 star must read book.

I adored this story, it was deliciously sexy and the characters were hot but also loveable.
Both Charlotte and Trey had undeniable chemistry but their meeting and the circumstances that led to it was less than ideal.
On their surprise second encounter all is revealed.
Or is it?
Can Charlotte move past the lies.
A story of hidden truths, instant attraction, a blossoming love, steamy moments, beautiful friendships and some amazing side characters.
Loved the storyline and the dulcet tones of narrator Jonathan Burling.
Excited to carry on with the series.
