This is one of my favorite series by Ms. Kane. I'm so happy to see it made audio, so now I can listen to it too. The story, of course, held my attention, and the sound of the narrator was both pleasant and varied. I will say that I caught a few words that I'm sure aren't pronounced the way I thought they would be - i.e., Chignon - but I think that might just be my ears or just a culturally different way of pronunciation. (I think there's one section I thought I heard craved instead of carved, but again, it might have just been my ears and having been half asleep. I'll go back for a re-listen soon. Overall, it was still a fantastic listen for me.
