What stood out the most was the horrible way the king behaved once his lover came back. It was very hard to get through

This one confirmed I'm not a sea king reader....

I could not stand how the king treated the ML after he came back to him. I get the whole dragon pride thing but it was just simply not how someone in love would behave, they have an abusive relationship that I did not enjoy. I would not recommend this book. I liked the characters but not the way the king behaved kinda spoiled their relationship.
