When I found out that this book was on audio, I was all for it. I’ve never heard of Justin and man, he nailed it. I normally don’t listen to audiobooks when I’m at home, so that tells you a whole lot.
I really loved this paranormal romance. It definitely will keep you on your toes from the suspense of what is to come.
When Ryder leaves Las Vegas to go back home to Salem when he gets some life altering news, I knew this was only the beginning of his future. I wasn’t much of a fan of his ex in the beginning but she sort of grew on me. Erin’s husband I absolutely loved. He was such a cinnamon roll and just so much fun.
I loved the name Carlos for the puppy. I died laughing at his little puppy shenanigans.
When Ryder does discover that his boss is a vampire, things get interesting for the two of them. I’m a sucker for a man calling his parter “love” and I was swooning every single time Jams called him that. This book hit all the feels.
I really need to start the next book because I need to know what happens next. I know the second book is only going to make me eager for more to what’s going to happen, especially with the new employee.
