I read this book back in 2023, but it just came out in audiobook format, so I had to listen to it. I love this world and the author is a sweetheart. Until now, I had never heard of Nathan Westhoff, but he does awesome accents and tonal qualities, so you know who's who. It shot him onto my Favorite Narrator list.

Anyway, my advice is two-fold. Read the book. Listen to the audio.

I've loved the How To Train Your Harem series from inception and seeing Tawny expand this story's availability to audio readers is amazing! Coming back to book one is like visiting with old friends. In fact, I may just have to go read the rest of the series again! If you like heroines strong enough to stand alone with heroes that make sure they never have to, with a lot of magic and smut, you should give this series a try!

This book is one of my all-time favs, and now with this Audible version I'm just over the moon. The narrator did awesome with all the different voices, especially liked the Irish accent he did for Finn. This book is full of snarky remarks and one-liners which make me giggle when reading the actual book but several times while listening to this narrator I literally busted out laughing (and got some strange looks). Can't wait to “hear” the next book.
