The story was well written but was hoping for more story. The performance from both actors was good.

This audiobook was incredibly engaging from start to finish. Zee Renee delivers a compelling story centered around Sanai Lee, a successful and intuitive woman who begins to notice unsettling changes in her relationship.

As the truth unfolds, the emotional impact of betrayal is balanced with a powerful and satisfying turn of events. Truce Wright’s character adds depth, ambition, and a sense of control that elevates the storyline.

The plot twist and overall execution were well done, making this a memorable listen.

Highly recommend for listeners who enjoy drama, romance, and strong character development.

Zee Renee is becoming one of my faves!!! The realness in the stories she writes give me everything I need. I love how Truce is just the right blend of street and professional and how Sanai is just a lil crazy!! This whole story had me giggling and smiling from start to finish!!!

I really enjoyed this story! Truce has the makings of an iconic MMC and the chemistry with him and Sanai is great. This is clearly just an introduction to these characters, so while I would have liked more story, I understand why it was a short story. I look forward to see how Zee Renee builds out this universe. And those spicy scenes.....wow! The only drawback for me were the narrators. It felt more like they were just reading the book to us versus performing it for us. That could be me just being picky but I like what I like! I look forward to more Truce in the future ( I guess Sanai can be there too lol)
