Sérgio Pereira Couto (São Paulo, 6 de março de 1967) é jornalista e escritor especializado em história do esoterismo, da ciência criminal, de teorias de conspiração e das sociedades secretas. Segundo entrevista para a revista Istoé em 2010, foi redator das revistas História Oculta e Biblioteca Negra, publicadas pela Editora Mythos, além de ter participado das revistas Geek, Discovery Magazine e outras. hoje continua a trabalhar com outras revistas da mesma editora, enquanto prepara novos livros que serão lançados em livrarias e bancas de jornais.
