This is the best audio book I have heard for beginning to understand whole sentences and dialogs in Russian. Does as advertised - short natural dialogs to boost confidence and improve your spoken russian. Narration is very well done, without interruptions.

Really enjoying this Russian audio -- I've already listened to it several times over the past year while doing dishes, cleaning, etc. Very useful for doing shadowing/repetitions out loud, good intermediate vocab, very clear and pleasant voice, fun story with cool cultural references too. I wish Ollie would do one like this in Ukrainian too 🇺🇦🇺🇦

I have been studying Russian as an adult, studying a little on my own for about 4 years, and having a tutoring session once a week for a little over two years. I found Ollie Richards about a year ago on the language learning program Lingq. They had one story by Richards on Lingq and it was so nice to hear Russian and see the text at the same time, and study some of the different words and phrases that came up in context. I then found 101 Conversations text on Amazon and the audio through Audible. If you are more advanced in Russian, this may help you as a listening exercise, but it would probably be more suitable for someone who has been learning for only a year, two, or three in my opinion; it is definitely not for a brand new beginner. Richards does a great job of introducing different words, phrases and cases incrementally throughout the stories and keeping them all cohesive and interesting.

With text, this is indispensable (for A2-B1)
