Hahn explores the "covenant love" God reveals to us through the Scriptures and explains how God patiently reaches out to us—despite our faults and shortcomings—to restore us into relationship with his divine family. Join Hahn as he follows the high adventure of God's plan for the ages, beginning with Adam and Eve and continuing down through the generations to the coming of Christ and the birth of the Church. You'll discover how the patient love of the Father revealed in the Bible is the same persistent love he has for you.

If you want to deepen your understanding of God’s love for you or desire to better understand your spiritual family history, as written in Scripture, this would be the second best place to start. I’d recommend having your Bible open while going through this book for maximum benefit.

Dr. Hahn once again describes how the Old Testament is revealed in the New...Jesus Christ and His Church. A great read for those who have not read the Bible but would not consider Dr. Hahn's writing as a substitute to reading the Bible.

Wonderful Synopsis of Old & New Testaments

At first the book seemed like it was mostly going to be just a summary of the Old Testament. But as it got going, the author was able to build on Salvation history with thought provoking insight.

Hang did a great job arguing and laying out the old covenant between God and mankind and how it is directly tied to the new covenant that was established through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Tying together the old covenant with the new.

It was in laman's terms and it brought further understanding of God's doings and word. Excellent and safe in that no where does it contradict God's word.
