A Few Bad Men is the incredible true story of an elite team of US Marines set up to take the fall for Afghanistan war crimes they did not commit—and their leader who fought for the redemption of his men.

Ambushed in Afghanistan and betrayed by their own leaders, these elite Marines fought for their lives again, back home.

A cross between A Few Good Men and American Sniper, this is the true story of an elite Marine special operations unit bombed by an IED and shot at during an Afghanistan ambush. The Marine Commandos were falsely accused of gunning down innocent Afghan civilians following the ambush. The unit’s leader, Major Fred Galvin, was summarily relieved of duty, and his unit was booted from the combat zone. They were condemned by everyone, from the Afghan president to American generals. When Fox Company returned to America, Galvin and his captain were the targets of the first Court of Inquiry in the Marines in fifty years.

This story brings to light how the courage and honor of the armed services is tarnished by those aspiring to be promoted through leadership at the expense of those under their command.

Thank you for your service and hanging tough against wrongful charges. Major Galvin we need more like you.

Major Galvan’s story is eye opening of the current command structure of the military. It’s a shame the officers would turn on our servicemen. Semper Fi

From every tragedy there are great lessons to be extracted. One from this book is that there are still men like Fred Galvin who are willing to stand on principle and face down a system for their day in court. The second is a reminder that there are two sides to every story. This book highlights how the phrase “innocent until proven guilty” is taking its historical place alongside the steamboat and the covered wagon.
If there are opposing facts to what’s presented in this book, I’d love to know them. Otherwise, these men are due an apology in the very least.

Compelling first hand account of how politics and careerism are the motivation for senior leaders rather than their responsibility to lead and take care of their service members. The actions and inactions ruin lives, careers, and degrade the fundamentals and purpose of command
