I’m not a big book reader and i kept having to restart the physical book after I’d put it down for a week or so. I’m glad I was able to listen to it and it kept my interest the entire time and finished in a few days. It’s steamy, spicy, romantic, shocking, I could envision almost all of the book happening while listening to it which was a huge plus for me. Amazing listen! Can’t wait to start the next book in the series!

I absolutely love this series and don’t see how these books aren’t as popular as the cliche court of thorns and roses, etc. They’re that type of books with queer centered characters. I’m so excited there’s more.

Love the banter and the characters. The magic system was easy to follow and the world building was minimal. I loved that tattoos were seen as powerful and not taboo.
The smut was 🌶️🔥
Didn’t love the pacing but I was expecting it cause they said they were gonna prep for the heist for 3 weeks and execute in 1 week.
