I have never read a book that literary swallowed me whole. The love story , connections , characters , the twist and details. It played like a movie in my head . And the ending had me sobbing of sadness and happiness for hours .

This book definitely had me in tears. It was a powerfully, emotional book that I loved!

Oh my heart. This was a beautiful sad story, moments of nostalgia of college and first love, feelings of life long friendships that have turned into family, connections you can’t deny and my momma heart breaking for loved ones. Identical twins, Archer and Maverick both find theirselves in love with the same girl, Archers best friend and their childhood neighbor, Ophelia (Lia). As Maverick fights personal battles his only option is to push Lia away, pushing her into Archers arms, now Archer will try anything to show he can be more than just her best friend. I loved the journey this book takes you on, in a true college setting, both Archer and Maverick are hockey players for LAU university, they have amazing friendships, college parties and with their angsty love triangle they have all the drama. Alison River And Corvin King narrate in dual and as a first time listener of these two, I loved their narration, giving us so many up and down emotions, with the true feelings behind these characters Alison and Corvin truly brought this story to life for me.
I am a sucker for an angsty hockey romance but the emotions this story brought added so much more depth to this story, making me excited to follow the journey of all the extra characters throughout this book.
