In this book, President Kennedy tells us what immigrants have done for America, and what America has done for its immigrants. It is one of the dramatic success stories of world history.... It can stand as a testament to a cause President Kennedy cherished, and which we should carry on.

This book gives details about the imagination of the United States and how the law has changed over the years.
I think one of the biggest insights is that imagination means becoming part of your new country and working hard to achieve success, not depending on the support of the government.

Interesting insight,but trouble narrator!

This is an interesting summary and overview of immigration to the United States from our country's origin until 1963. Many of the issues our country is debating today is a variation of historical debates. Therefore, although somewhat dated, a reader can see that the issues are very similar.

I found this work to be very illuminating and I learned a good deal. The reading itself is good, but not great. There are some stumbles and mispronouncing, which are understandable, but considering this is a commercial product, could have been repaired with a second take. Overall I did find the audiobook satisfactory, but not excellent. Thank You...

JFK lived for many ideals which made our world so much better, love for the immigrants is one of those. From many, one. E Pluribus Unum.

JFK loved our nation of immigrants

This book is fantastic in it's telling of the value of immigrants to the United States, but the voiceover is KILLING ME. It's disjointed as if it's the first time the reader is reading the material. I find myself focusing more on the pacing and strangeness of the read than on the content itself.

Wonderful words, Badly Read
