From USA Today best-selling author of The Highland Fling comes a brand new romantic comedy about a desperate billionaire seeking to find a fiancée. This modern day take on Pretty Woman is brilliantly clever and hilariously pause-resisting.

How did you two meet?

The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow.

My meet cute (well, not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me.

He was stomping around the block like some sort of gorgeous ogre, mumbling about a business deal gone wrong and attempting to finagle his way out of it.

And that's when we bumped into each other.

There were no sparks.

Not even a hint of blossoming love.

But next thing I knew, I was scarfing down free chips and guac, listening to this man lay out all of his problems which led to his big ask...he wanted me to be his Vivian Ward, you know, from Pretty Woman - minus the frisky behavior.

We're talking about living in a mansion, intimate double dates, and pretending we were head over heels in love...and engaged. Can you imagine?

The absolute audacity.

But people do crazy things when they’re desperate. And I reeked of desperation. So, I struck up a deal.

My one big mistake, though...big...HUGE? I accidentally fell for the incomparable Huxley Cane.

Huxley Cane is really well-written. He is not over the top controlling which I hate happens in some of these kinds of books. It made me laugh out loud more than once. Fun, easy, spicy read.

Great light rom-com with a lot spice

Audiobook review:

Who knew I was a sucker for Aaron Shedlock!! But I am!
His voice is perfect for the first Cane brother Huxley!
Also love Ava Erikson! As Lottie.

This is a 50 shades, meets rom com.
Spicy yet funny!

Lottie is having a heck of a day, fired by a “friend” living with her parents and just not feeling her best she goes on the hunt for a rich husband. Insert Huxley Cane, a rich sexy businessman looking for a fake wife, did I mention pregnant wife. After lying to score a business deal he is on the hunt. Lottie and Huxley make a deal for a fake relationship and instantly Huxley’s charming self turns into demanding. He is bossy, short with his words and closes off.
Now Lottie has to live with him and she sassy self is determined to figure out who Huxley is, under all his armor will he be the sweet charming guy she meet the first day??

Fake dating
Hot business man
Great banter
Spice 🌶️🌶️

Aaron Shedlock may be my new fav. 50 shades meets Rom Com

How… how does Meghan Quinn do this time and time again?!?! She writes these completely captivating stories… stories that pull me in. They make me laugh. Make me swoon. Make me cry. Huxley is a 100% work-a-holic! He’s all work, no play with little sense of humor. In comes Lottie. Lottie is exactly what he needs. She loosens him up to where he becomes a new man. Lottie is more of a free spirit. She’s fun and carefree. She’s recently unemployed and looking for a place to live.

These two meet, and they are off the charts. Their heat level is INSANE! The romance between these two is so sweet and so pure. I really loved it. Dare I say this is Meghan Quinn’s spiciest book she’s ever written. The narration was one of the best I’ve listened to in a long time. Aaron Shedlock was an amazing Huxley. He added so much feeling and heart into this. It’s the same with Shedlock, dare I say this is Shedlock’s best performance. Ava Erickson is a pure gem. She was fabulous as Lottie. She gave the perfect amount of humor, heart, and heat. It was perfection!!

The hottest Meghan Quinn book yet!!
