Dear Santa, Please Bring Me a Daddy for Christmas...Finding a father for herself (and a husband for her widowed mom) tops Abby's Christmas wish list.

And rancher, Zach Delaney, fits the bill. He and her mom have been best friends for ages. But Zach knows there are lines you shouldn’t cross, no matter how long he’s secretly been in love with his best friend.

Suzannah is still grieving and he’s not about to make the first move.Since her husband’s death, Suzannah Owens has leaned heavily on Zach and he’s always there for her. The long tall cowboy is so easy to love, but she’s terrified of messing up their friendship. What if romance ruins everything?

To make this holiday wish come true, it’s gonna take a meddlesome ten-year-old, a sweet little dog who desperately needs a home, a quirky town named Kringle and a whole lot of Christmas magic…

I've given Virtual Voice a fair chance. Some are better than others, but some are no better than letting Alexa read in the Kindle Reader. The errors in this one took me right out of the story. Envelop as in giving someone a hug is NOT pronounced the same as envelope as in something you place a letter in. "Job" as a person's name isn't pronounced the same as the work you go to every day. One would hope that some minimal editing would be done to assure the accuracy of the Virtual Voice. The other issue is that I've found that there's not a lot of change in inflection with more emotional scenes (say a loud argument) than there is with a general conversation. Yes, VV is cheaper, but I'd rather (and have) pay more for actual narrators.

It was a cute story, one that was a nice change from a more serious series of stories that I just finished.
