A great fun book with the aristocratic heroine mascaraing as a poor orphan to escape from a dreaded arranged marriage. This has a fresh spin as she lives a life as a groom to a handsome bachelor Lord. Narrator good also.

I enjoyed this book although I prefer first person writing and would like to have felt more of the MFC’s emotions. She didn’t have much personality either but the MMC did and was likeable and fun even though his plot was silly. The narrator was really great except I didn’t like her narration for the MFC as much as the rest of the characters. Still I will be adding her to my list of narrators to look for.

The plot of this story is different than most and gets to you in the first chapter. The characters were exceptional and drawn beautifully. Both the heroine and hero are quite likable and have you rooting for them every step of the story. The ending makes you smile. At least it did me.
