Jimmy Buffett, beloved singer and songwriter, sailor and fisherman, the man who lived the free-style, beach dwelling, barefoot walking, rags to riches dream life so many aspired to, has put together a tale of the sea and its various characters in fine style worthy of a good listen. Details of a world so few of us will ever experience in a manner similar and reminiscent of Tom Sawyer. Thank you Jimmy, for all that you have given us over the years...your words will live on forever as you sail on, sailor.

it took me a few chapters to get into it but after that I didn't want it to end. It took me on an adventure on the sea.

Buffet did a great job of helping me just melt away into the tropical landscapes in this book. The characters are all likable and hard to root against. One of those books you read/listen to that helps remind you that life is not meant to be rigid and serious. Would recommend to anyone.
