Wyatt Thompson grieved over a loss. His world crashed around him and nothing, it seemed, could help him.

Piper Morgan, a mail-order bride, came to Colorado to find love and security. But when she arrived, sick and alone, she believed her world would never be the same.

But deep in the frigid Colorado mountains, Wyatt and Piper found each other. In a twist of events, Wyatt and Piper are drawn to each other and drawn from any thing they've ever known.

Will this mail-order bride fall in love with a man in what becomes a marriage of convenience?

--I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This is the perfect short, feel good romance. Julie Pollitt captures romance at it's best in the late 1800's. Wyatt Thompson marries his dead brother's mail order bride, Piper. She does not decide to marry him easily, but the two develop a beautiful romance in this quick listen.

Leonor A Woodworth, as always, brings her magic to this story. I love her voice, always giving a performance that is easy to listen to.

A beautiful, quick listen!

Where does A Silver Plume Romance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was a sweet easy listen to a well written book. The beginning was sad and it worked its way into a sweet love story. I love books that describe settings and characters so well that you feel like you are there. I also love mail order bride themes. Piper is a mail order bride who is so happy to finally meet her groom Chester...kind of hard to do when he is dead. His Brogher Wyatt only wanted to be in Colorado because of his brother. Now Wyatt is free to leave, but Piper needs him.

What does Leonor A. Woodworth bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Leonor does a good job with the character voices. It really helped me with the setting and made it easy for me to visualize this sweet love story.

Any additional comments?

I wish this book was a little longer. With a story this good you just want it to go on for hours.
