Trish Dalton has put her wild, adventurous days behind her. She's grown up and settled down in her veterinarian practice that she built from the ground up, but a secret part of her misses the untamed woman she used to be. Now her life is quiet, safe, and a little bit lonely.

When her sister surprises her with a gift - a singles retreat at a yoga studio in the Rocky mountains - Trish is reluctant to go. While most of her happiest memories were in the Rockies, she isn't into granola-crunchy stuff and has never done yoga in her life. She also doesn't know if she's ready to brave a romantic relationship with anyone.

But the yoga studio is nothing like she imagined, and when she meets the owner of the studio - a gorgeous, exciting woman named Kennedy - Trish begins to feel stirrings of her younger, wilder self waking up. A short and cute listen. No angst. Spice and HEA. If you want a quick fun listen then this is a great book for you. Well written.

This is a short story, and my first by this author.
Trisha Dalton a veterinarian who’s life has become boring and monotonous until she is given a yoga studio retreat vacation as a gift that helps her to see what her life has become and changes it forever.
I want to thank Ava Lucas the narrator of this story, also Aural fixation for the chance and the win. I am grateful for the opportunity of listening to this story.

While I'm a big fan of PNR of pretty much any variety, I wasn't able to fully get into the F/F aspect of this book. This personal preference is part of the reason I rated this book at 3 instead of 4 (if I could, I'd give it 3.5 stars). I found the beginning of the book particularly entertaining, though, when Trish is talking to her sister describes the many presents her sister has gotten her over the years (I particularly liked the night with the polar bears). Overall, Essex's writing was good, but I wasn't able to delve fully into the content.

This was my first for both author and narrator. The story is short but satisfying listen. With the sultry voice of Ms. Lucas, varied enough for all the characters to be able to differentiate them, I was immersed in the story, 'see' the surroundings and feel the bond developing between Trish and Kennedy. The love scene is steamy and the hint of paranormal caught my attention. Did she dream the scene in the woods or not? Maybe. Maybe not.

I received this audiobook as a giveaway and this is my honest review. This was my first F/F romance story. This was also my first Bridget Essex's book. This is a short story. I haven't really connected with the main characters, but the story was well written and the ending was interesting. The narration was great and easy to listen.
