Grant Masterson is a man with nothing left to lose....
A disgraced ex-cop, framed by a crooked politician, abandoned by his family, he’s forced into the life of a bounty hunter just to survive.
Tracking down a traitor who stole military grade weapons to sell on the black market, Masterson finds out things aren’t as simple as the wanted poster made them seem.
Because Delia Beckett isn’t a traitor, simply a patsy, and the forces manipulating her may be the same ones responsible for Masterson’s fall from grace.
Can a beat-up bounty hunter and his robot dog find the truth chasing a fugitive in a backwater colony town? Or will their journey to Absolution be their last hunt? Find out in this science-fiction thrill ride from Rick Partlow, the best-selling author of the Drop Trooper series.

I feel like the narration was good, I feel like it could've been better, but I still liked it, I just feel he could've worked on his girl voices, I think they were lacking and they could've been better. other than that I liked him, his voices weren't overly annoying, and I actually like his main narration voice. I'd like to hear him in book 2, and in other books.
the characters were also good, I loved the robo dog, and I think he's one of the best characters in this story, I also like the mc, he's pretty humorous and he has some depth to him, they both also have unique personalities.
I like the other side characters also, but not as much as the main characters, I think the side characters have depth to them, and none of them really irk me. I don't think anyone will have any problem with the characters in this book, at all.
I also mentioned how the mc was humorous, I completely agree with what I said, there are some parts of this story where I'm just laughing.
i really like some of the humor in this book, and I think it's one of the best parts of star bounty.
Now let's talk about the plot, it's not overly good, but it's also not overly bad. I honestly think it's okay, not something game changing, but also not something that's garbage.
I liked it... enough, I do think there are other (better) things about this book, but this also has to be mentioned.
I also like the premise of this book, you don't get much bounty hunter books like this, and the last one I listened to even remotely like this was Black badge.
the world building was good also, I like how the world is built, and I think it's pretty detailed.
This book also has its fair share of action in it, I like the action, it's pretty good. it's also not something game-changing but I do still think it was pretty enjoyable.
I really liked this book, it was better than I thought it would be. I do think this book is worth the credit, even with how short it is.
I can't wait for book 2
better than I thought
