Everything comes together in this unfortunate, final book in this series. Mercy, after encountering all seven sinful deities, has been healed. However, that doesn't stop Vainglory from still trying to one up Acedia, which will be the ultimate test of Mercy's healing. What's to become of Mercy's relationship with Doris, with Acedia, and does Vainglory defeat Acedia in her quest for Mercy's heart? As sad as I am for this series to end, I thoroughly enjoyed it all and would highly recommend it.

This is the eighth and last book of the Sins of Mercy Series.

Mercy has been declared healed, but that doesn't mean everything is running smoothly. She is fighting her feelings for Daisy but finally believes in them, but that changes when she is stood up on a date. Mercy believes Daisy "ghosted" her.

Acedia comes to congratulate her on her healing journey, but darkness is there ready to take her soul. Mercy goes through a series of emotions and a very tough challenge with the darkness.

I enjoyed the ending but wish it was longer to see Mercy's healing continued.

Wow what an exciting ride this series takes you on. Mercy needs to fight the darkness again. The seven sins are with her always as well as Acedia. Daisy is in a fight for her life and Acedia needs to help. I love them all and will miss hearing about all of Mercy’s adventures with them. Portia did a fantastic job narrating.
