The sci-fi story line was excellent. The descriptions of the main character having sex with a variety of women and androids was over the top and completely unnecessary. It's almost as though the author wanted to write a romance for teenage boys. Those parts were annoying, unbelievable, and frankly they took away from the main storyline. Who cares who he had sex with, and the jealousy that resulted? Luckily, the fast forward button works well.

I really liked the overall story overall. The scifi was good .... but

I listened to these books separately and loved them as much as the first batch but I don't recall the narrating being this bad. Half the time it's adequate, one quarter sounds like somebody left the volume up on Saturday morning cartoons, the other quarter sounds like a couple high school drama students reading a screenplay for the first time. Very disappointing. Not the usual Audible quality, kind of recommend but kind of don't. Definitely recommend getting the Kindle books, the author really nails this story line and it's entertaining.

Great story, poorly narrated
