It’s difficult to keep up with which characters POV your getting. Unlike the previous narrator, this makes no distinction between the male characters voices / speech patterns at all. It easy enough to overlook, I guess. But “Alex-eye” and “gaaw-ging” (gauging) nearly brought this entire series to a screeching halt for me. Because WTH! I was very annoyed with that. But I did manage to finish the audiobooks and the story was good, even though it was nearly identical to the storyline of the first 2 books.

Of course I can’t wait for what’s next! Ames has a way of telling these stories like none other. 5 MMC’s that are all so different but yet not. The common theme of live and family takes center stage with a wee bit of spice to make it oh so nice.

The story was great but the narrator was terrible. her voice is fine but she kept mispronouncing names and words.

Once again she’s done it, she captivated my mind-body and soul with her incredible writing. Evie might be my favorite FMC ever. I also am in love with the fact that she was a big girl and celebrated for it, she had to struggle with past traumas of being bigger but the guys worked with her. I love it so much
