So refreshing to listen to a book that is Christ centered. The story which spanned generations had many, many twists and turns. The narration for the most part was pretty good. As a Christian I throughly enjoy Lynn Austins stories. Great listen! !

I love this book. I love how the whole book is full of surprises. I enjoyed getting to know all of the characters.
I especially loved how God got a hold of so many hearts.
Most shocking to me was Eleanor and Rick.

I’m listening to it again so I can understand and put the book all together in my mind. A VERY VERY EXCELLENT BOOK that I highly recommend. Mistakes made and generational issues that can be resolved IF THE FAMILY COULD HAVE GOTTEN TOGETHER AND DISCUSSED THEIR LIVES.. which they did at the end of the book. If they had done it sooner, life would have been so much better for all of them
