NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Hilo confronts his arch enemy Razorwark in this epic graphic novel series that’s “an action-packed page-turner with heart” (Dav Pilkey, author of Dog Man).

“A story that can be enjoyed by the entire family.”—The New York Times

“A perfect book for any kid who ever needed a friend and then had one with superpowers fall from space.” —Seth Meyers, actor, comedian and writer

Everyone’s favorite space boy—Hilo—is back! And this time, he’s determined to defeat Razorwark, an ancient robot warlord who has chased Hilo throughout the universe. But Hilo is done running. Razorwark has brought the battle to Earth, and the time has come for one final face-to-face showdown. The outcome will decide the fate of the robot world… and Hilo’s future. But Team Hilo is prepared to defend Earth with everything they’ve got—no matter the cost.

Filled with laugh-out-loud text and the occasional space robot, this action-packed graphic novel series shows that no matter where you come from, kindness, friendship, and choosing your own path are the greatest superpowers of all.

An absolute gem of an audiobook. The story flows beautifully, even with the context clues, and the ad-libs are as charming as ever. It has its gentle moments and its darker tones - though there is quite more of the latter in this climatic installment.

The cast is full of talent in its entirety; McInerney's performance as Hilo in particular was heart-wrenching. I teared up when I heard him begging and pleading with Izzy in the climax.

Context heavily requires readers (or listeners) to be recapped with its predessecors. It's definitely a bold way of storytelling, but it works quite well with the high stakes and breakneck pace.

I highly recommend this and the series itself to anyone who likes a good story that knows when to take itself seriously, and when to make light of even the darkest situations. Outstanding.
