Tom Lowe is the author of some really good historical fiction books in the Sean O’Brien series. This series is a spin off of the O’Brien series and Elizabeth Monroe first appears in the 3rd book The Butterfly Forest. In this book Monroe’s daughter is murdered. This is a driving force through out the three books in the Monroe series. Elizabeth’s daughter’s murderer has never been found. In this book a man accused of orchestrating a string of murders tells Elizabeth that if she will assist him in his endeavor to deceive the courts, he will give her the name of the person who murdered her daughter. This is the closest she has ever been but can she go through with the deception? Read the book because I wouldn’t think of spoiling it for anyone!
Eliza Foss does a great job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is a very good book, unfortunately I’ve read it before. Wished I hadn’t so I could read it all over again!!
