In this epic Western by USA Today best-selling author William W. Johnstone, the distinction between lawman and outlaw gets hazy once the gun smoke thickens. Frank Morgan, legendary gunslinger turned town marshal, has disguised himself as an inmate at Yuma Prison - hoping to root out a bank-robbing plot. But even the straightest arrow can bend when shot into a corrupt hellhole like Yuma.©2008 William W. Johnstone (P)2008 Recorded Books,LLC Westerns Fiction Genre Fiction

This is a good, fast paced book that will keep the listener's interest. I have many of the William Johnston books and the reader of the book, George Guidall is one of the best.

A good read

Suspenseful, breathtaking drama passionately narrated and beautifully written. A character described as the archetypal man. Oh would there be such a man in reality as Frank Morgan Alas. He is fictional and a hero to die for.

Astonishing drama

Good narrator George Guidall is the best story teller I know of. Smoke, Frank, Preacher,Mitch,Hurley,Stormy, and last but not least my favorite character Dog.George cannot tell their thoughts any better, I will buy any book that is narrated by him

Best damn Storyteller going.

The placement of the story, at the meeting of the Old West and the New, gave extra texture beyond an ordinary western tale. Guidall's narration is always a blessing on top of typical action and heroic choices. Well written and the time was definitely well spent.

Time well spent.

Of course, George Guidall's narration was brilliant. And the "Story" was refreshing, using new themes. twists and turns. However, stop repeating the nonsense of "the sound of the bullet passing next to his ear/head". Yes. such shots can be heard, but the majority of rounds fired by poor marksmen pass at distances below the neck.
