October 1976 - Nine months after a family fled their home in terror, a young couple decides to move into 112 Ocean Avenue. Garrett and Bradley are eager to leave their apartment and settle into a new home just before Halloween. They aren't prepared for what they will discover. With the help of The Amityville Historical Society, they find a history of secrets revealing the terrifying truth behind the unexplained phenomena threatening to tear their lives apart...horrifying secrets the house has hidden since the day it was built. If you thought the story began with the tragedy of the DeFeo murders and ended with the infamous haunting — you were wrong. It was only the beginning.

The love and unity between the two protagonists was reassuring when I was thinking about what they might be facing in this infamous house. I liked Garret and Bradley, which made me care about them and fear for them too. Good, scary story.

I really liked Dustin Davis’ narration. Knowing the book would be read by him is what prompted me to buy it. He did not disappoint!

The emotion in his voice drew me into the story and heightened the tension that you’d expect to feel being in the Amityville House as Fall winds blow and Halloween creeps ever closer.

The Amityville House has new owners and it’s almost Halloween!

The story was engaging, the voice actor was wonderful, the sound mixology was perfect. (I didn’t have to keep changing the volume on my earphones.). Thank you for your hard work. 🙂

Resolution of a sort

The story line was a fresh take on the Amityville Phenomena. I liked the story line, but didn't LOVE it. The story teller kept me engaged and was relaxing at the same time. Great job all around!

Superior voice acting
